Project Name: Hanes Hall

Project Name: Steele Building

Scope of Work & Scheduled Completion: Removed approximately 70 squares of existing shingle roof system and 300 linear feet of existing built in gutter.  Furnished and installed all new Terne Coated Stainless Steel (TCS II) built in gutter system and new TCS II standing seam roof system.  Completed May 2008.

Project Name: Thompson Theatre

Location: Raleigh, NC

Owner: North Carolina State University

General Contractor: New Atlantic Contracting

Scope of Work & Scheduled Completion:  Removed approximately 50 squares of existing slate roof system and 500 linear feet of built in gutter.  Furnished and installed all new copper built in gutter system and new slate roof system.  Scheduled for August 2008 completion.

Project Name: Wise House Roof Replacement and Repair 

Location: Market Street Wilmington, North Carolina

Owner: University of North Carolina at Wilmington

General Contractor:  The Century Slate Co, Inc.  

Scope of Work & Scheduled Completion:  Removal and replacement of existing slate and flat locked roof systems with new slate and copper flat locked panels.  Built in gutters were coated with liquid applied membrane system.  Downspouts and collector boxes were fabricated and installed.  Minor roof deck remediation was completed.  All chimneys were re-pointed.  Completed September 2007

Project Name:  St. Martin Manor 

Location: North Johnson St New Orleans, Louisiana

Owner: Diocese of New Orleans

General Contractor: The Durable Group 

Scope of Work & Scheduled Completion:  Removal of roof systems on three buildings.  Repairs were made to the existing roof deck and framing members prior to the installation of new roof sheathing.  Slate and copper roofing was applied with tile hip and ridge pieces.  Completed August 2007.

Project Name:  Parrish National Bank

Scope of Work & Scheduled Completion:  Removed and replaced copper standing seam roof system and clad chimney tops with custom formed copper slat seamed panels.  Completed November 2006.

Project Name:  Campbell Hall, McComas Hall

Location: Blacksburg, Virginia

Owner: Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University

General Contractor: Carolina Restoration and Waterproofing 

Scope of Work & Scheduled Completion:  Selective removal of slate and flashing to allow for the replacement of limestone parapet coping stones.  New flashing was custom fabricated and installed in sequence with the slate.  Completed September 2007.

Project Name:  Horne Residence

Location: Hillsborough, North Carolina

General Contractor:  Birmingham Construction Co. & W.L. Bishop Construction

Scope of Work: Installation of approximately 20,000sf of slate roofing, 800lf of custom formed lead coated copper cornice and gutter, various copper and lead coated copper flashings, claddings and decorative pieces.

Scheduled Completion: July 2007

Project Name:  University United Methodist Church

Location: Franklin St, Chapel Hill, NC

General Contractor:  Century Slate Co

Scope of Work:  Removed existing slate roof on main sanctuary and connector building, installed new sheathing, and install new slate roof. Included relining copper built-in gutters.

Completed: July 2006.

Project Name:  New West Building Renovation

Location: UNC Chapel Hill, NC

Scope of Work:  Removed existing terne coated steel roof and built-in gutters.  Replaced with new roof, gutter lining and new downspouts.

Project Name: Wilson Hall Renovations

Location:  UNC Chapel Hill

Scope of Work: Slate roof restoration and installation of new radius lead coated copper panels on dormers and custom flashings.

Project Name: Biltmore Forest Country Club

Location:  Asheville, NC

Scope of Work: Install new random width graduated slate roof, copper standing seam roofing, half round copper gutters and copper flashings on new addition.

Project Name: Old Health Bldg Repairs & Renovations

Location:  Downtown Raleigh, NC

Scope of Work: Slate roof restoration, removal and replacement of decorative metal cornice, refurbishment/ recreation of all of the roof finials, replacing copper built-in gutters and downspouts. 

Expected Completion: May 2007.

Project Name: Schantz Residence

Location:  Raleigh, NC

Scope of Work: Installed new slate roof, copper standing seam roofing, copper gutters and downspouts.

Scope of Work: Manufactured and installed zinc siding, soffit panels, coping and interior zinc panels.

Scope of Work: Installed new lead coated copper standing seam roofing, custom conductor heads, downspouts, and wall panel systems.

Project Name:  Kenan Center

Location: UNC Chapel Hill

Scope of Work: Slate roof restoration.  Added lead coated copper flashings all around the building.  Waterproofed the masonry exterior.

Scope of Work: Removed existing slate roof and installed a new slate roof, copper standing seam, custom gutters and downspouts.

Scope of Work:  Installed new slate roof, copper standing seam roofs, copper gutter system, and decorative copper accents on exterior elevations.
