Century Slate gives this limited warranty and it is accepted in lieu of all other liability or warranties, expressed or implied, in fact or in law. All labor and material is guaranteed as specified and will be provided in a workmanlike manner according to standard practice of the trade. Century Slate is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages. Conditions beyond the control of the Century Slate are not covered.
All agreements with Century Slate and Owner or their agent, are contingent on the aforementioned conditions. This warranty is not transferable and covers only work specifically identified in this contract.
Acceptance of Proposal: Century Slate is authorized to do the work specified. Payment will be made as outlined above. Owner will carry insurance adequate to cover fire, theft, tornadoes and other hazards. Century Slate to carry Worker’s Compensation and liability insurance. Perform the terms of this agreement. Contractor reserves the right to terminate the work at any time for cause upon written notification to Owner. In the event an action is brought by Owner or Contractor to enforce any provision herein, the prevailing party in such action shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs of suit as may be determined by the court.
